Summative Task:
Exploring NZ through place names and their meanings. Students (in groups) will create a board-game based on places with Maaori names that are significant to them. Once complete, students will be able to explore each others’ games using the language associated with playing games.
Will also include placemat with additional phrases useful when playing games.
