Goodbye, Room 14!

Room 14, you have been a joy to me. My hope is that I have helped your character as much as you have helped mine.

You have been a great class. Feel free to email me to say how things are going. Looking forward to hearing from you in the future.

My small part of your journey is over, but your journey is only beginning.

Kind regards,
Mr Ahie

Video for Åskollen School in Norway

My brother-in-law, Lars Christian, is a principal at a school in Norway. He sent us a video a class performing a haka in front of an audience (you can see a glimpse of it in this video).

Here is our response (I translated it for the students in room 14, so you will have to ask them what I said).

  • What was the purpose of Christopher Columbus' explorations?
  • What types of challenges did he have on these explorations?
  • What were the outcomes of his exploration?
  • How did these outcomes impact those involved?

A Big Walk In idea

I found this video; do you think it would be worth trying for the whole big walk into camp? Add a comment to let me know your thoughts. I believe our school owns a Go-Pro.
