Writing Wall instructions
Creating a writing wall is a great way to display your writing for others to see. Not all pieces of writing are our best pieces, but this gives you the opportunity to share a piece that you are proud of (much better than it just sitting in your book).
- A3 piece of paper (portrait)
- Draw a line 3cm away from the bottom of the page
- 4.4cm away from each side
- 9.1cm away from the top
- Show Annabel or Lucy once you've penciled and ruled it
- Write your name in big letters across the top of the page
- Draw patterns as a border around the page
- Colour it nice and bright
- Don't colour the middle part
- Put it into a laminating pouch

Using the internet and your email
Every student has an email address, a username, and a password.
You must remember these in order to use the computers.
Once you have logged into Student on the laptops (see your teacher for the password), go to the Google Chrome app. This page may appear:
Go to www.gmail.com or mail.berkley.school.nz
Now here, you only type in your username (not your full email)
Type your password, and you should now be online.
You will be able to access your email from home also. You will need to know this because some of your homework will need to be sent to me.
All the best.
